I could never have done it without my husband, who stood by me, supported me, encouraged me at every step. Each session was a team effort : him with his hands, me with my determination. And guess what? It worked. I kept my hair. Long, thick, alive. Just like me.

In 2021, I lost my hair during chemotherapy. And even though I knew it was temporary, that loss affected me deeply. It wasn’t just about appearance: it was a loss of identity, of control, of stability. So when the cancer came back, one thing was clear: I was not going to lose my hair a second time. This time, I wanted to hold on to that part of myself. To hold my head high — literally. That’s why I decided to use the Penguin Cold Cap. For me, it was an investment in my dignity, in my morale… and in my healing, too. But I could never have done it without my husband, who stood by me, supported me, encouraged me at every step. Just like me I’m sharing this photo, taken after my treatments, to show that yes — it’s possible.
