The method was 100% successful in my case. I’m so grateful I was able to keep my hair. Once the last chemo session was over, having my hair helped me move on more quickly and truly feel like I had put this chapter behind me.

From the moment I received my diagnosis in December 2024, my biggest fear was losing my hair. It was thanks to the amazing oncology nurses in my region and the book [https://amzn.to/46Q68no](Un cancer en cadeau) that I discovered it might be possible to keep my hair, even through chemo. My mother and I took it on as a challenge. We read a lot about the method, watched and rewatched the videos from your foundation, and followed the FAQ instructions to the letter. Getting dry ice was also a challenge, since it was a 12-hour drive from where I live. Despite the distance, everything went smoothly. I believe I was the first person to use the method in Havre-Saint-Pierre, so there was no one to guide me through it… My treatment protocol was TC every three weeks for four cycles. Final chemo: June 27. The result: the method worked 100% for me so far. I’m so incredibly happy I was able to keep my hair. I truly believe my children found it easier to go through this because there were so few visible changes—and so did I. :) Having kept my hair, once the last chemo was done, I felt like I could move on more quickly and leave this chapter behind me. If you’re facing the same challenge, don’t forget: you are strong, you are beautiful, you’ve got this! Thank you to your foundation for keeping hope alive! - Maryse Métivier
